Tips for Fall in Colorado 🍁
Fall has officially landed in Colorado this week, with nightly temperatures dropping to the 40s. As a local Denverite and Red Rocks expert, I wanted to share some tips on what to pack for a Fall concert.
What to Wear/Pack to a Fall Concert:
A warm, thick jacket - Faux fur is always fashionable at Red Rocks!
A North Face or fleece for underneath the jacket
Gloves and/or, at minimum, a Koozie to add a layer between the White Claw can and your hands.
Beanie / Hat - This is extremely important! If you keep your head warm, you will stay warm.
A Scarf - Scaves are multi-purpose and can act as blankets.
Warm, thick socks - This is key! If your feet get cold, you'll be miserable and unable to feel your feet.
Hand and/or Feet Warmers - We sell these in our Red Rocks General Store if you need some.
Other Tips/Tricks
Craving something warm to drink? Head to the Starbucks stand inside the Visitors Center (Upper North) and grab a hot chocolate or coffee.
If you know you get cold easily, pack extra layers, like leggings or a long sleeve shirt and change in the bathroom.
If you see a friend shivering and you have extra layers to spare, be a lifesaver and offer them your extras.
If you arrive at the venue unprepared, you can always buy merch from the artist or inside the Visitors Center.
The quickest way to raise your body temperature is to walk up and down the stairs or DANCE. Move your body!
Stay warm out there, and most importantly, plan accordingly!
Can't wait for chilly fall shows 🍂
