10 Personal Rules for Concertgoing (That Everyone Should Follow)

Going to a concert is more than just watching a band—it’s an experience, a vibe, a night you’ll probably remember forever. And if you want to get the most out of it (and not annoy everyone around you), these are my tried-and-true personal rules for making every show the best it can be.

1. Don’t miss the opener. Even if you’ve never heard of them or think you won’t care—go. Get there early. Openers are handpicked for a reason, and they’re part of the journey the headliner wants you to take. Some of my favorite bands were openers I stumbled into.

2026 Update

Welcome new and returning members to Bus Party Colorado! We’re so excited to kick off another unforgettable season together.

We officially have 86 events live on our Events Calendar, giving you tons of chances to connect, pre-party, and ride to your favorite shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in style.

What’s New This Year

Our member pre-party events are now 1 hour and 15 minutes, giving you even more time to mingle and meet fellow music lovers before we roll out.

We’re also introducing a fun game to help break the ice! You’ll receive either an album cover or an artist name and will have to find your matching combo somewhere in the group. It’s interactive and a great way to spark conversations before the show.

Here’s a look at 10 epic spots where nature and music come together to create pure magic — and why they’re worth adding to your concert bucket list.

1. Red Rocks Amphitheatre – Morrison, Colorado

We’re starting with the obvious one — because no list would be complete without it. Carved into towering sandstone formations just outside Denver, Red Rocks…
