10 Personal Rules for Concertgoing (That Everyone Should Follow)
Going to a concert is more than just watching a band—it’s an experience, a vibe, a night you’ll probably remember forever. And if you want to get the most out of it (and not annoy everyone around you), these are my tried-and-true personal rules for making every show the best it can be.
1. Don’t miss the opener. Even if you’ve never heard of them or think you won’t care—go. Get there early. Openers are handpicked for a reason, and they’re part of the journey the headliner wants you to take. Some of my favorite bands were openers I stumbled into.
2. Eat before you go. Venue food is overpriced and often… meh. Plus, no one wants to be mid-set and suddenly starving. Fuel up beforehand so you can focus on vibing, not your stomach.
