Hi Friends,

I actually made this list one night while sitting at Red Rocks. I pulled out my phone, opened my notes app, and started jotting down all the little things I was noticing — the stuff you only really pick up after going a bunch of times.

These are the things I’d tell a first-timer sitting next to me. The small, real-life tips that can make your night smoother, more comfortable, and way more magical.

First… Turn Around

At some point during the show, turn your back to the stage.

Seriously.

Every year, Red Rocks Amphitheatre selects one or two major improvement projects to enhance the venue experience.

This year, they’ve added a permanent merchandise stand and built a brand-new East Terrace at the stairwell. We love the idea of a dedicated merch space — that’s a win for everyone who doesn’t want to miss half the show waiting in line.

As for the multi-million-dollar terrace at the stairwell… we’ll admit we’re a little curious about that choice. But hey — what do we know? 😅

Maybe one day we’ll see clearer signage near the parking lots and some added weather coverage inside the venue to help protect guests from those classic Colorado hail surprises. A little wishful thinking never hurts, right?

What’s New This Year

Our member pre-party events are now 1 hour and 15 minutes, giving you even more time to mingle and meet fellow music lovers before we roll out.

We’re also introducing a fun game to help break the ice! You’ll receive either an album cover or an artist name and will have to find your matching combo somewhere in the group. It’s interactive and a great way to spark conversations before the show.
