This past weekend at It’s Murph, we were honestly shocked by how many 15 year olds were inside Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

A lot of them still had braces, were dressed for summer in freezing temps with tiny skirts and tank tops, and were even crowd surging in the security line. It sparked a bigger conversation we’ve been seeing online that the next generation might be lacking basic concert etiquette, and after this weekend, we kind of agree.

We saw pushing, shoving, people taking space that was already claimed, and just an overall lack of awareness for others around them.

So it got us thinking, should Red Rocks move to an 18+ policy unless accompanied by an adult? Would that actually improve the experience?

You’d think it might mean less trash and less chaos, but maybe we’re wrong.

What’s New This Year

Our member pre-party events are now 1 hour and 15 minutes, giving you even more time to mingle and meet fellow music lovers before we roll out.

We’re also introducing a fun game to help break the ice! You’ll receive either an album cover or an artist name and will have to find your matching combo somewhere in the group. It’s interactive and a great way to spark conversations before the show.
